Description

AVAILABLE IN MY ETSY SHOP: ---> www.etsy.com/au/listing/163977… <---

Here is Merlin the storm rider caribou! It is said that Merlin is over 1000 years old, he has spent his days riding along with storms. He wears a saddle waiting for that special person who proves themselves that they can ride along side Merlin.

Merlin wears a storm necklace which he stores the power of storms in.

Merlin has a resin face and paws that are an original sculpture hand crafted by me.
His face and paws were then meticulously hand painted with acrylic paints; the body was designed and sewn by me. Merlin is approximately 20 x 30 cm head to tail.
His saddle is made from leather which I also hand crafted, it is removable.

Merlin is completely poseable, he has a wire armature that is wrapped in polyfill so he is very soft.

Hours of work went into this little guy and all items are hand crafted and are original. I use only high quality materials so I can produce the best quality sculptures and dolls.

Please treat Merlin with care, he's not meant as a toy for small children.

This doll is already completed (not a custom order) and is ready for shipping.

Hi creaturesofnat, I really love your posable art dolls. Your my favorite artist and I've tried some of your techniques for making them. And, I have a technique of my own which I'd like to share. So, you know when you cut the fur, it leaves loose fur flying around. And even after you shake it, there is still loose fur. So, when you finish the doll, take a small vacuum and vacuum around the seams. 1, it is really fun. 2, it makes it EXTREMELY fluffy. 3, it gets rid of the loose fur and makes the seams harder to find by pulling the fur that got in the seam out, giving it a more natural look. So, can you pls use this technique in one of your posable art doll tutorial vids? And send me a link on my deviantart account? And pls don't forget the credit!
Thank you, and have a good day!
